deceased was filing for divorce

Is a spouse intitled to soc. sec. benifits if they were only married for 30 days. The deceased was in the process of getting a divorce. Divorce papers were already filed at the court house?

DEAR SSI, MY QUESTION IS A TWO PART QUESTION.
MY HUSBAND AND I RECEIVE SSDI. I HAVE A COURT ORDER FOR HIM TO PAY ME 600. ON THE 1ST OF THE MONTH AND 300 ON THE 15TH OF THE MONTH. MY SPOUSE IS IN AGREEMENT THAT IF HIS SSDI CHECK CAN BE DEDUCTED FOR MY SPOUSAL SUPPORT, WHAT FORMS WOULD I NEED TO SET THIS IN MOTION. 2ND QUESTION, I RECEIVE 784 IN BENEFITS AND MY SPOUSE GETS 1900 A MONTH, CAN I SPIN OFF HIS BENEFITS SO I CAN HAVE AN INCOME INCREASE AS I AM NOT EVEN SQUEAKING BY OFF THIS 784 A MONTH. I need to know if my mother can receive death benefits from my father's SS. She has her own SS benefits now.
Can we fill out the form on line?
I also need to know if I can get any benefits from my ex-husband. We were married for 20 plus years.

how long does it take

I had brought in everything requested when I spoke with someone from SS. My husband died adn we have a 2 year old child. I was told that we, my son and I, each would recieve 768 a month in benefits, plus the one lump sum for funeral... However, it has now been 3 weeks since I have submitted the paperwork, how long does it take to go into effect? Also, how can you call and actually get hold of a person.. I call and all I get are automated responses, I would like to speak to a person at the location in which I submitted the paperwork..

who on social security are eligible for the one time $250 dollar stimulus money. Does a parent getting a social security check for a surviving child qualify?
