Your work as a volunteer or volunteer leader in the Peace Corps is covered by Social Security if:
You are a citizen or national of the U.S.; and
You enrolled in the Corps on or after September 22, 1961; or you had been engaged on that date by contract with the Peace Corps Agency established by Executive Order No. 10924 dated March 1, 1961.
