Emphysema/COPD

Regarding disability, recently had a pulmonary function test which showed 42 % capacity. Would this quality for benefits? I am 61 years old, have worked most of my life. Due to difficulty working I retired last Oct. PFT. has been 42% this test & the one two years ago. No improvements.

If your capacity is less than 50 percent, you may be considered disabled.
