If you are divorced, but your marriage lasted 10 years or longer, you can receive benefits on your ex-spouse's record (even if he or she has remarried) if:
I am unaware of a way to directly learn if your benefit is due to the ex-spouse's work record. You may have to contact SSA to learn the source of benefits.
