Recently divorced widow...collect on first husband?

My husband and I were married for 25 years, and we were still married when he died 15 years ago. Four years ago I remarried, but have recently divorced my 2nd husband.

Now I am on my own financially at 62. Is there any way I can collect benefits on my 1st husband? I wish we had never married....

Please help! Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Sorry, I meant REmarried. I wish I had never REmarried after my first husband. :)

Survivor benefits with second marriage when second marriage ends

It may be possible to receive benefits based on your first husband's record.

From SSA publication :

In general, you cannot receive survivors benefits if you remarry before the age of 60 unless the latter marriage ends, whether by death, divorce, or annulment.
