Good day, I a 62 year old woman, working a full-time job, and I do not collect SS or anyother SS benefit. My question to you is will I have to repay the stimulus money when preparing my 2009 taxes?
Thank you.

Return of stimulus payment
May 27, 2009 by admin
Based on your post, it sounds like you wouldn't receive a stimulus payment. However, it sounds like you did receive a stimulus payment. If you mistakenly receive a payment, SSA states that you should return the check to your local Social Security office. The office will provide you with a receipt to document that you returned the check.
The 2009 stimulus payment is not treated as taxable income. I have not seen information on this, but I suspect the government will not send out 1099's for the stimulus payments.
